Our Story
Since 2011, Coach Carey has been working with children giving free football clinics and mentorship.
The idea was birthed to help Children from neighboring slums and marginalized areas get an alternative escape away from the streets. Having an avid love of soccer, the universal game, many of the children joined the academy to get a reprieve from their harsh backgrounds.
Joined by a teacher and researcher friend LIHFE -(LITERACY, HEALTH IN FAMILY AND ENVIRONMENT) was birthed to help coordinate and address the children's plight which was mainly education, good social circles and faith. From our donors, sponsors and friends we have managed to help children overcome crime, drug abuse and also inspire them to excel in their education as they pursue football,their first love. From a humble beginning of 5 fun loving kids, LIHFE soccer academy now hosts sessions for over 40 kids weekly all year round. Here we play,and have fun as we develop the kids sporting prowess under our vision to empower.

The foundation works towards promoting young talent through coaching, sport camps, and competitive events programs.

Providing mentor-ship programs that pair’s youth and adults with mentors who provide guidance in setting personal goals for personal development.

Promote physical and mental well-being of individuals through health education emphasizing on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
4. Environmental Sustainability
Engaging in initiatives that promote environmental awareness, conservation and sustainable practices including community clean up campaigns, tree planting, recycling program, and education on education stewardship.

Creating awareness in communities fostering family strengthening approaches through counselling, parenting workshops.
